ELIOT SCHREFER is the bestselling author of The Deadly Sister, The School for Dangerous Girls, Glamorous Disasters, and The New Kid, which was nominated for a LAMBDA Literary Award, and Hack the SAT. In his latest novel Threatened, as he did in his acclaimed novel Endangered, a finalist for the National Book Award, Eliot Schrefer takes us somewhere fiction rarely goes, introducing us to characters we rarely get to meet. The unforgettable result is the story of a boy fleeing his present, a man fleeing his past, and a trio of chimpanzees who are struggling not to flee at all. Shrefer is also a contributor to The Huffington Post and a reviewer for USA Today, he lives in New York City.

THEO LAWRENCE is a graduate of Columbia University and the Juilliard School. A Presidential Scholar in the Arts for Voice, he has performed at Carnegie Hall, the Kennedy Center, and Off-Broadway. Toxic Heart is the second novel in his Mystic City trilogy. Ever since rebellion broke out in Mystic City, pitting the ruling elite against the magic-wielding mystics, Aria has barely seen her boyfriend. Not surprising, since Hunter is the leader of the mystic uprising, and he'll do whatever it takes to win freedom for his people—even if that means using Aria. But Aria is no one's pawn. She believes she can bring the two warring sides together, save the city, and win back the Hunter she fell in love with.

TIFFANY SCHMIDT is the author of Send Me A Sign. In her new novel, Bright Before Sunrise, Jonah is forced to move from Hamilton to Cross Pointe for the second half of his senior year, and as far as how he's feeling, “miserable” doesn’t even begin to cover it. He feels like the doggy-bag from his mother’s first marriage and everything else about her new life—with a new husband, new home and a new baby—is an upgrade. The people at Cross Pointe High School are pretentious and privileged—and worst of all is Brighton Waterford, the embodiment of all things superficial and popular. Jonah’s girlfriend, Carly, is his last tie to what feels real… until she breaks up with him. Tiffany Schmidt lives in Pennsylvania with her saintly husband, impish twin boys, and a pair of mischievous puggles.
