We were travelling through some of Australia's most inhospitable terrain and had already faced many challenges. Dangerous wild bull camels, I'd been kicked in the face and nearly lost consciousness, and I'd almost been run over by an out-of-control wagon. Our trip with all these animals had to be easier this time. We had no haven to return to or safety net to catch us if everything went wrong. We also had no destination.

Many judged them as foolish and thought they wouldn't make it. Yet Kye and Gill trusted only in what felt right and what they knew they had to do. The force that guided them to sell their home and leave on this adventure had also bought into their lives in serendipitous ways, the animals they travelled with.

This unique and extraordinary adventure of trust and love may have been dreamt into being over red wine and campfires. Yet, the reality far surpasses the dreaming. Love really does triumph.
