The Stations' famous work on pigs and swine husbandry includes basic details on swine breeds such as the Poland China, the Berkshire, Essex Pigs, Hampshires, the Tamworth, the Durc-Jersey, Yorkshire Hogs, Chester White, Cheshires, the Victoria, Common Southern Hogs or "Razorbacks" and others. Also included is a section on the raising of crops for swine feed. Breeds of Hogs will shed considerable light on popular domestic pig breeds that were raised in the early 20th century.
