Neil GaimanJoin Upstate Films and Oblong Books for a special screening and discussion with author Neil Gaiman.

When Coraline moves to a new home in this stop-motion animated tale, she feels neglected by her stressed-out parents but soon finds a magic portal leading to a parallel world where everything seems perfect. When she walks through a secret door in her new home, Coraline discovers an alternate version of her life. On the surface, the parallel reality is eerily similar to her real life - only it's so much better. When this wondrously off-kilter, fantastical adventure turns sinister, her counterfeit parents (including Other Mother) try to keep her forever. Coraline must count on her resourcefulness, determination, and bravery to get back home and save her family.

"Coraline is a remarkable feat of imagination, a magical tale with a genuinely sinister edge." - Kenneth Turan, L.A. Times
