The reading will include an introductory poem from Compass Rose, a generous selection of poems from Sight Lines, as well as a few new poems. There will be a Q and A after the reading.

Born in New York City in 1950, Arthur Sze is a poet, translator, and editor. He is the author of ten books of poetry, including Sight Lines (Copper Canyon Press, 2019), which received the 2019 National Book Award in poetry; Compass Rose (Copper Canyon Press, 2014); and The Ginkgo Light (Copper Canyon Press, 2009). He is also a celebrated translator from the Chinese and released The Silk Dragon: Translations from the Chinese (Copper Canyon Press) in 2001.
