Join us for our August Hudson Valley YA Society event! We'll be joined by two amazing YA authors: Nova Ren Suma, Imaginary Girls, and Micol Ostow, family.
A monthly series, the HVYAS brings the best and brightest YA authors to the Hudson Valley in a memorable and fun party-like "literary salon" atmosphere, with refreshments, conversation, and giveaways for attendees. Sign up for the HVYAS Newsletter!
Nova Ren Suma (www.novaren.com) is the author of Dani Noir. She studied writing and photography at Antioch College in Ohio and went on to receive an MFA in Creative Writing/Fiction from Columbia University. Nova lives in New York. Author photo by Erik Ryerson.
The only thing Micol Ostow enjoys more than reading and writing is being scared out of her ever-lovin’ wits. When she was 12, her father gave her a copy of Helter Skelter. Needless to say, it made an impact. Her new novel, family, is a contemporary exploration of cult dynamics loosely based on the Manson Family murders of 1969. Micol lives and works in New York City with her filmmaker husband and a finicky French bulldog.
