Bruce Weinstein and Mark ScarbroughSo how do you embrace the modern kitchen?  What high tech equipment can you truly not live without? Bruce Weinstein and Mark Scarbrough offer up the answers in an evening of knowledge, insight, and expert advice on kitchen tools, techniques, and gadgets from the past as well as what to expect from tomorrow.

Bruce and Mark have explored, packaged, and published on topics as diverse as ice cream, ham, barbecue, goat, and vegetarian main courses in Vegetarian Dinner Parties for which they won the IACP People’s Choice Award sponsored by Better Homes and Gardens.  Their latest books, The Instant Pot Bible (October 2018) and The Essential Air Fryer Cook Book (coming out October 2019), make use of today’s hottest appliances.

With their trademark wit and humor as well as 20+ years experience making the cooking experience as fun as it can be for the home cook, Bruce and Mark will fill you in on all the secrets they’ve discovered and even a few yet to come. Bruce and Mark are award-winning, international best-selling cookbook authors with 32 published cookbooks and over 1,000,000 copies of their books in print.  Their books have appeared on best-seller lists in the Washington Post, The Wall Street Journal, and the Canadian Globe & Mail.

They host a series of online cooking video courses for Blueprint.com and have laughed with and fed most of the national morning show hosts (including Barbara Walters on The View), have appeared on countless PBS cooking shows, and produce a highly popular podcast called Cooking with Bruce and Mark. When they are not in the kitchen, Mark teaches literature classes and conducts book groups throughout Litchfield County while Bruce teaches knitting and designs patterns for both men and women.  Together they find peace and make their home on ten wooded acres in rural CT with two adorable collies, Spritz and Nosh.
