Rhinebeck Writers Retreat

OPERATION MINCEMEAT, by Zoe Roberts, Natasha Hodgson, David Cumming, and Felix Hagan

Synopsis: The year is 1943 and right now, England is losing the war. Luckily, they’re about to gamble all our futures on a stolen corpse. This fast-paced, darkly comic musical follows young British Naval Intelligence officer Charles Cholmondeley, and the utterly surreal, totally bizarre intelligence mission he conceived that - despite all the odds - was instrumental in winning World War 2. The question is, how did a well-dressed corpse wrong-foot Hitler into handing over Europe? OPERATION MINCEMEAT rousingly investigates national pride, dumb luck, who writes our histories and what the hell we’re all fighting for in the first place.
